Income Impacts Ministry

Written by: | Posted on: | Category:

If you work for your income, instead of your money working for you—income affects your ministry. If you do not have multiple streams of income including a residual income—money affects your ministry. If you cannot pay cash for four new tires—income affects your ministry. Your stewardship, leadership, and patience are all interwoven consciously or unconsciously to the choices that you make in ministry. For example, some ministers/leaders will not approach people about their harmful behavior because their giving or influence affects the organization’s budget. But what if you could liberate your organization from that concern by having a portfolio, endowment, or trust set up, and in so doing guide leaders in your organization to fulfill “Removing the wheat from the tares.” (Mathew 13:30) because “Bad company corrupts good character” (1 Corinthians 15:33).
