Greed Divides Us
As of the guest speaker for the 60th Anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Poverty. I opened my speech with these words.
On the fateful day of August 28, 1963, hundreds of thousands of people came to be inspired and to inform their elected officials that they were sick and tired of being sick and tired. They came because they knew poverty and freedom are directly connected to the Liberation of ALL People. And for those that have not surmised this yet, Black, Brown, and White folks have been postured to believe that we are enemies with one another because of our ethnicity but the real enemy is GREED. I am convinced that Proper Planning Prevents Poverty-Postured People. Using a copy of Reimagining Discipleship will keep you focused on the right things.
